It’s one of the oldest settlements in the southern region,
where the Hungarian population is in majority and because of this,
it is one of the most important cultural centers of Hungarians of Vojvodina.
The municipality of Senta has nine temples.
Six of them are located in the town and three in the surrounding villages (Felsőhegy, Tornyos and Kevi).
Eight of them are Catholic, where the language of the Mass is Hungarian. In the town's only Orthodox Church,
ceremonies are held in Serbian.
In the town, three memorials were erected to honor local victims from different historical events.
The most well known is the Battle of Senta monument.
The Memorial Look-out-tower of the Battle of Senta is among the major sights in the town.

the unique staircase and the Fire Station are one of the most attractive Secessionist buildings in Senta.
